Oakenmist Renaissance Faire

The Faerie Village

We proudly welcome the Baltimore Faerie Faire, Mythicon and the Enchanted Fairy to Oakenmist’s Faerie Village.  Located in the heart of the Baron’s Bazaar, the Faeries have planned a weekend of merriment to delight and inspire your creative soul.

The Baltimore Faerie Faire celebrates the wonders of the natural world, and all the beings that inhabit it, real and imaginary. They seek to to heal, inspire, nurture, entertain and serve the Baltimore community by creating Wonder in an urban Faerie Festival. They strive to find balance between the concrete and the dirt, the practical and the fantastic. Promoting creativity in costume, crafts, music, dance, art and attitude, Baltimore Faerie Faire seeks to create a welcoming space for young and old, dreamers and doers, artists and patrons of the arts.

Come explore the Faerie Village and let the faeries enlighten your soul.

On Saturday the faeries will feature family-friendly activities your young ones won’t want to miss! Stop in and get a balloon, make a fairy doll or relax with your favorite colors and a piece of parchment.  Have you ever wanted to learn to bellydance? Queen Amunet Ara will show you the basics Saturday afternoon!

On Sunday the Tricksy Fae take over center stage.  There will be music and dance for the delight of all adults.  We invite you to join our Adult Tea at High Noon and then stay for the music and dance classes, and entertainment throughout the afternoon.

Our activities are free; please consider tipping!

Baltimore Faerie Faire is a 501C3PO nonprofit, and the activity directors are… happy to buy lunch with your kind donations!

Tip either, or neither – all are welcome!
