We are the Black Knights, edutainers extraordinaire! We normally can be found at other Renaissance festivals walking around and performing for Faire-goers. We do weapons demonstrations and love taking pictures, so don't be afraid to ask for one even if we appear to be taking a break. Can't wait to see everyone at Oakenmist!

Vick features a charming mix of creative wonders including amazing, beautiful, fun, and unusual magical effects. Original magic, mentalism, comedy, classical magic, and a few surprises. We love honoring the forgotten things and giving them new life. Stop by Saturday or Sunday for demos on broom making using traditional and diverse materials.

Tommy Tate sings classic Renaissance and Medieval songs and folk songs in English, French and Gaelic while playing the Irish Bouzouki and Hurdy Gurdy. Between songs, Tommy shares his knowledge of and love for the instruments and the songs, especially those not sung in English. Audience members are invited to participate and and sing along!
