The Mead Garden by Byrggjemann Mead
Guests 21 and up are invited to visit the Mead Garden at the far end of the Main Hall to sample our locally made mead and learn some time-honored mead making techniques.
Mead is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey with water, and sometimes with other ingredients like fruit, spices, grains, or hops. It's believed to be one of the oldest alcoholic beverages, with origins dating back thousands of years.
